True but a lot of black people are treated A HELL of a lot better overseas even though foreign countries have their own racial problems. Germany is MUCH more progressive than those racist Nazi days. Yeah there are pockets of racism there but it's nowhere near as bad as the racism in America.

In fact the racial discrimination overseas was so much lower that a lot of black GIs after WWI stayed in France because they were treated much better. There was even a movement by blacks in France to encourage African Americans to immigrate the entire black community over there and start afresh without the KKK and Jim Crow keeping us down.

The racism in foreign countries aren't because the people are black, but because they are African immigrants and foreigners. It's more of an immigration issue than a racial one.


EDIT: You have to watch out in Russia though because those skinheads there don't play. But then again Russia is not really that liberal of a country like a lot of countries in Europe.(With the exception of Italy. The racism there is due to self hate at the fact that they have African blood)

The Ottoman Empire never really extended into Africa besides Egypt and Northern Sudan. They actually helped the Swahili Coast fight against the raiding Portuguese. Never heard of any atrocities committed by the Ottomans in Africa. Now Germany is a different story; but like someone said current Germany has progressed a lot since the Germany of the past.
