After some quick googling I recall that the actual place of conflict is in a place called Xinjiang (pronounced sheen jee-aang).

Basically in the early days of the Communist party, they were spreading atheism () around like free samples. Obviously you know religious folk don't get down with facing reality like that so that just reinforced their beliefs. Add to the fact that the Chinese government is suppressing religious freedom and political freedom and that all leads to Chinese Muslim/Kazakh/Turk brehs getting mad as fukk. I don't subscribe to religion but I personally would never suppress it, maybe just be like yo don't push it on us.

This is Djibouti's hustle, even when the whole Africom thing I am sure might wind up simply being an upgrade of the base in Djibouti. The US drone base was also based out of the country and was expanded 3 years back. There is a limited amount of pressure other countries can place on Djibouti. The economic muscle of France,China and USA enables them to give more incentives than the entire continent combined.
