As high tech and modern as we are, at least the sky is not visually polluted (minus geoengineering). Now though with onset of drones being regulated for more uses in 10 - 15 years we gone look out our window and see constantly flying machines on a clear blue sky. My argument has always been the following: "You're bound to have bullies in the schoolyard. But you cant just have one bully. Or for the sake of the little guy you cant have One bully or two bullies that get along. You need multiple bullies (at least two) who despise each other so that when one threatens you, you can always strike a deal with his enemy and survive. "

• See Vietnam. If Vietnam didnt have Russia to back them the U.S. and the french would have been wiped them off the face of the earth and they wouldnt have been able to put up a fight.

China, while they're dirty too, at least has the back of a lot of those smaller Asian nations because they have a vested interest ($$$$) in them. I'm rooting for Nigeria and South Africa to get to Super Power status in 100 years or so if they get their acts together. But like many developing countries, the brain-drain effect is slowing their progress. Especially Nigeria
