Hate this narrative because in the height of the crack era, majority of crack smokers were white. Majority of heroin abuser are white.
Drug dealing by blacks is mostly targeted because selling/controlling a vice abused by a group is an easy way to exploit and control a group.
White people can sell blacks a vice, but blacks cannot sell white people a vice, that vice becomes illegal until all the people in power understand exactly how they’ll control the market for the vice.
Let the people that caused the Opium Wars, tell you that black drug dealers are the problem in the black community versus economic and social inefficiency.
But my lil brother says it perfect, “White people have convinced a large amount of black people, that it’s okay when we do it but not okay when you do it.” Luckily I think a lot of black people with a little bit of power are starting to wake up to the reality of “white supremacy” as Stokely originally explained it.
