I've been saying this. Drag queen culture has become mainstream, and women love to co opt whatever it is that flamboyant gay men are doing. Drag culture is about exaggeration and parody. The men have makeup that's exaggerated to the point of looking almost clownish, they wear clothes padded with ridiculous proportions. Many women have a fantasy of having a gay best friend who will be like they're personal attendant. They idolize gay and transgender male culture to the point where natural born females are doing their makeup like drag queens and surgically altering themselves so they look like upside down lightbulbs or literal hourglasses.
