no idea how I ended up tagged in this, but... always been a fan of some of the fundamental structures of the daoist teachings. But I'm psychologically predisposed toward ideology focused around the diminishment of self in the face of a greater, infinitely-terrifying whole.

I'd have been a huge Lovecraft fan if he hadn't been a turboracist.

as to anything pretaining to psychic abilities... meh. I have my theories on 'psychic' anything, and it is largely based in a greated belief about the universe being a construct of rhythm and some people being more able to sync themselves up to the cosmic 'beat'. But as to any baseline 'i see future. i read minds. i deal in absolutes despite speculating from an outside position'.... eh. I disagree, cite the Tragedy of Cassandra and leave it at that.

Tao 33 one of my favorite from the Tao te Ching

Knowing others is intelligence;
knowing yourself is true wisdom.
Mastering others is strength;
mastering yourself is true power.

If you realize that you have enough,
you are truly rich.
If you stay in the center
and embrace death with your whole heart,
you will endure forever.

i'll say this though Alfred Huang I Ching is probably (using that term loosely) the nicest translation of the i Ching.
