My bad, didn't follow recruiting at all this year and was looking at the wrong column. Still, your namesake was #1 dual threat and only played spot duty his entire freshman season until the NCG. Claiming that a QB should be fire in the first game of the season as a true freshman just because he was highly recruited is too much - if that was to be regularly expected, more teams would do it.

It is happening a lot now actually. Just look at JT Daniels for USC, Adrian Martinez for Nebraska, Artur Sitkowski for Rutgers, Zack Annexstead for Minny all started as true freshman and won this weekend. And Justin Fields+Trevor Lawrence could easily be starting. Also Fromm for UGA last year and Eason the year before. Tua could have started last year but Jalen was in the way. It's not a rare thing anymore

Don't even waste your time bruh. He said we had it easy when we faced one of the more recent MVP QBS and arguably best receivers in the league, not to mention an up and coming defense. A historically great defense in certain fields and number one overall defense for the season. Then arguably the best QB in league history.
