Choke makes a great point; he did Flex a favor documentating The Tunnel, but, Flex didn't give him a dollar to fund it back in the day.

hate to admit it but Flex has a point ....... Flex booked those artists , Flex promoted the night, wouldnt have been anything to film if not for him...

You don't just "own" stuff just because you're over a person. And that's what Flex is doing. Flex ain't demanding a piece of Hot 97, because he knows better.

You don't deserve a cut of anything you didn't negotiate a cut of.

This is why I don't like 360 Deals; you get the feeling record labels think they own the entire existence of an artist without actual developing the artist outside of music.

too use your analogy that would mean Flex wanting a cut of EVERYTHING Choke filmed i.e Dash going on a rant in the Def Jam offices .... he doesnt

Watch the video; Choke said he wanted 100% creative control. I'm basing my opinion on that.

I don't know much at all about Choke No Joke but this seemed like 1 of the realist I've ever seen.

Him bringing his mom to the interview was awkward tho.
