- "I'm not falling for this because he does it in New York versus if he does it in Sacramento or some smaller city"
- "That's like saying Fat Joe is a top 5 rapper of all time because he's from NY. Fat Joe is dope, has some anthems and classics, but he's not Top 5. Jalen Brunson is dope, but he's not a Superstar yet"
- "He's not better than Devin Booker, Donovan Mitchell, Jaylen Brown, Kyrie, etc. Donovan Mitchell has a much better track record in the playoffs than Brunson"
- "People think that's all it takes is for Brunson to make the conference finals. Then what about Jamal Murray? He averaged 26 ppg help his team win a championship, hit 2 game winners against Lebron and AD, and he's not a superstar"
- "What about Trae Young, averaged 25 and 9, led a lesser team with a lesser coach to the Conference Finals. And he's not a superstar! Now I'm supposed to say Jalen Brunson is?!!"
- "He's a 2 year wonder, 3 years ago he averaged 16 ppg. His run like the Isaiah Thomas run with the Celtics"

Say it with your chest Broussard :picard:

You wouldn't get views if you just fell in line and said that he's the shyt.

But as we all know, it's still a team sport. Boston with their like 4 all-star players will be tough

Depends on what your personal definition is.

The reason why it's become a conversation is because his performance over the course of the regular season, going into the post season have been up there with superstar names.

I understand what Broussard is saying to a degree but have any of the other names he mentioned ever been in MVP contention? Have they led in the way Brunson has led?

Food for thought.

He is right. A superstar signifies on AND off the court fame. People be handing out titles without folks actually earning it.

LeBron James
Steph Curry
..........
Kevin Durant

Thats it.

Jalen Brunson is not in that category. He fighting to get in the next level of star players, not superstars. The next level is Luka, Kyrie, Giannis, etc.....
