Chris Brown has official been charged criminal hit-and-run in connection with a minor car accident in May.

L.A.'s City Attorney has now filed charges against Brown for driving without a valid license and hit and run. If convicted the singer could face 6 months in jail for each charge.

What makes matters worse is Brown is already on probation for his 2009 assault of Rihanna. The City Attorney is turning the case over to the District Attorney, who could determine that the singer has violated his probation.



If that happens he could soon be in front of a judge facing the possibility of four years in jail.
