We (the big 10) don't deserve to be considered SEC quality right now
It is what it is. PSU was holding it down in bowl games during the new millennium, but we lost it because our recruits didn't develop (and some got thrown off the team). I mean…we couldn't even keep top notch PA talent in PA. We got gifted with Christian Hackenberg because his father pretty much bred him for PSU.
The SEC bias grew off the back of OSU getting pounded in nat'l championship games. It hurts in regards to recruiting. When all the talent wants to play for an SEC type team, especially the top talent in your region/state, of course it's going to be hard to raise the level of play in your conference. Recruiting is the name of the game.
How many fukkn years did we have to deal with Tennessee starting the season with a top 5 recruiting team and ending the year as a sorry sack of shyt?
I hate the SEC bias because fans like those from Georgia sit on their ass all off season eating off in state 5 stars, talk mad shyt, then act all surprised when their team flops. I hate the SEC bias because all you cats like to claim conference champions. If OSU won any of those national championships, no way in hell would you see a Michigan taunting another conference with that win.
