Chris Gotti explains how Murder Inc got raided before they could form a company with J. Prince and Suge Knight. Also how they (The Alphabet Boys) really stepped in once they were trying to help Kenneth 'Supreme' McGriff stay legit via the movie 'Crime Partners'.

Who in their right mind would do a deal with a distribution company ran by Suge Knight, J Prince and probably Supreme with Irv and them as the face? Lol, foh. I can see them trying to use the "this is for us!!!" propaganda to lure rappers in...then you find out later your house and car and girlfriend is in the company's name and shyt like that, :lolbron:

I was searching for the J Prince Suge Knight distribution deal.

I just think when people like Gene Deal and Reggie Wright Jnr say 'Diddy and Jay-Z' snitched and stopped it from happening is BS.

I don't know how they would benefit from that, but the story keeps coming up.

You forget it's DeathRow apparently Suge is always generous with money but still Kurupt went back after the fact, Same with Daz and Left-Eye was signed to Deathrow. Suge has a strange pull in fact his relationship with Irv/Murder Inc is odd too.

I wouldn't sign to a label with those 3 as the head. There'll be little room for mistakes. You go over budget or do not make the deadline you are going to know about it in the worst way.

I bet you Vanessa Carlton regrets that deal with Murder Inc though.

Above the fray.
Daz and Kurupt "went back" because Suge likely had them signed to 720 deals, before 360 deals were a thing.

Gotti is copping pleas here. The same pleas they copped at the time.

Latifah and her partner Shakim tried to set up a smaller scale distribution company roughly around the same era. They encountered roadblocks and industry resistance along the way.

Suge, J. Prince, and Irv had too many goons on staff and direct ties to criminals/criminal behavior. That's why they were targeted by the Feds. Not because of the silly "bu bu bu but they want to hold Black people from gaining power" barbershop talk.

If I know this, then clown ass doggie diamonds knows this as well.

Suge was cool with the Gotti's for a while. Chris and Irv went with Ruff Ryders to Cali to meet with Suge when he wanted to sign DMX in 1994.

:ohhh: I thought Suge never liked X due to one article in XXL Magazine where he compared Pac and X to comparing a Rolls Royce to a Mitsubishi.

Props though 1994 that's like 3 or 4 years before he finally blew up major!

Man this is craaazy and that's Young Irv (RIP Bro). He is looking serious too! :wow:

At that time I think Irv's main act was 'Mic Geranimo'. So yeah I can respect the forward moves that's powerful.

Also, supposedly Suge reconnected with Irv Gotti within days of him being released from jail in August 2001.

LOL I do not know where to stand on Reggie at the moment. Personality and Character wise I really really like him and even though some call suspect on a few of his stories. It seems to be coming out to light. I will listen real quick I never knew they connected that deep.
