I'm watching his Unguarded documentary now on demand. :gladbron: this guy was good in highschool, college, and his brief stint in the NBA. It went downhill when he first snorted his first line of coke with those two girls. Then, he got second chances and he played for the Denver Nuggets & The Celtics. Sad he couldn't leave the drugs alone. Dude could have atleast been Allen Iverson status. Dude was agile and a great shooter. I mean from what I'm seeing he could have been a great basketball star. Plus, he went overseas to play after his NBA stint. Herren could have been a star there, but screwed it up with drugs. He still turned out good though. Because it could have been way worse for him. He's a public/motivational speaker to people now. Basically, he's telling folk don't go down the path he did. However, that dude got NUMEROUS chances.

Basically, the point of the story is DON'T take life and opportunities for granted. When I get my first opportunity in whatever I may do I'm gonna give it my ALL and take it seriously.

Anyone know where that Between the Madness documentary can be found? This came on Fox Sports Net during the 98 season it was a doc on the Fresno St team with Herren,Rafer,Courtney Alexander and a bunch of wild nikkas shyt was comedy. Tark brought in some street nikkas but they acted up and ended up going to the NIT. This was the year on the Herren doc when he had to go to rehab for a month I remember Rafer getting into it with Tark son on the sideline at SMU. I remember Andy Katz was the beat writer for the Fresno Bee before he got that ESPN shine.
