Pitt is a mess now, but it could be a decent gig. He's a higher profile coach than I expected them to end up with. They ran Dixon out of town for Stallings and Dixon kept them relevant for years. On top of that, they fired Stallings after his second year. Going winless in the conference doesn't give you any job security, but that paired with Dixon's treatment doesn't make the job very attractive.
And Howland before that. They had a nice little squad with Carl Krauser, Chevy Troutman and 'em....thought they'd break through and maybe get to a FF, but they couldn't get past the S16.

As for Capel, he needs to prove he can lead a program again, especially if he's got his eye on K's seat whenever he retires.

Hope he takes his wack ass recruits with him.

why for??

the tar heels will still have to play them in the ACC.

Pitt is within a 300 mile radius of Detroit, Cleveland, Philly, NYC, DC, Tidewater Area, BMore, Jersey

Recruiting won't be the issue IMO

THIS.

and people forget how thurl their squad was when the Dixon regime was at its peak, and they were national contenders.

all those ex-big east teams in the new ACC should've stayed put tho.

Outside of the Griffin years he couldn't do shyt in a much better situation at OK, I imagine he's gonna get some breathing room due to the mess he's inheriting but I don't see success in his future.

Chris Mack is an insanely good hire. I wanted him or Holtzmann to take over after Beilein retired.

All Xavier does is pump out great coaches and Mack left that school with a loaded roster.
