I don't have an issue with someone making a distinction between the winningest QB of all time and the most talented QB of all time.

Tom Brady won 7 Super Bowls. Football is not an individual sport. He gets credit for all of those Super Bowls but there's factors that go into it like Beli's defense shutting down the Rams in the Super Bowl and Beli's defense shutting down Peyton Manning's offense in some of those AFC playoff games or Adam kicking a couple wild field goals against the Raiders in the snow or a game winning kick against Carolina in the Super Bowl. It's a team sport.

Brady, his second half against Seattle was perfect. He was incredible in that game. He was incredible in the game against Philly that they lost. He was incredible against the Falcons in the 28-3 comeback. It's a team game. Everyone contributed to the winning to some degree.

Mahomes might have more talent and I think he does but he won't be the 'GOAT' until he gets up to 4 or 5 Super Bowls because that's how most people are going to look at it, even if rings are supposed to be about the team.

Neither one of them is better than Marino from a pure passing standpoint. Rings or not.

But for the sake of argument, Mahomes could never make another Super Bowl. 10 years down the line he’d be nobodies GOAT. We crowning him for being there while the Bills self destructed? At least Brady earned the right to be in the conversation.

Mahomes doesn't need 8 rings to surpass Brady

He's only a few years away
Naw brady longevity is something else

Pat got to win 5 to be in the convo and that might not be enough

Brady beat Pat in AfC championship and the Super Bowl. Brady was Pat and Pat was Josh Allen

Brady had an error in the second half against Seattle when he threw a pick to Bobby Wagner. He was better against the Eagles but lost that game. Goes to show you how much of a team game it is.
