Maybe it's just me but I never really looked at Chris Paul as being that fast, especially after he had the knee problems. I always looked at him as being able to get by opposing players because of his handle and his shooting ability forcing defenders to play up on him, similar to how Steve Nash used to pretty easily blow by people in his MVP days.

He is fast enough for soccer. You don't have to be very fast to play soccer.

Hulk is thicker than Paul. Why can't Paul play? Thickness doesn't hurt soccer players; it helps them if they aren't hampered by it. Also, you don't need "speed and quickness" per se to play soccer. Iniesta isn't fast. He's also like 5'7.
