There is a misconception that "Christian Rap" should stereotypically be on some "goodie goodie" tip, but thats stupid considering that the Bible is full of "Kill Em All" stories...

Take a song like Metallica's "Creeping Death" This song can be classified as a "Christian song" because the lyrics are based on a Biblical story, the Angel of Death killing all the first born sons in Egypt...

The Bible is actually a grimmey book full of horrific and dark themes...

In fact, if you rapped about Satan killing babies and throwing them in hell fire, that would technically still be "Christian Rap" because Satan is a Christian concept...

Isn't the difference between Christian and secular music about the message?

Some of y'all are the same ones who are okay with Kendrick Lamar and DMX having songs about God and prayer and then the next track is ungodly. Why is it not corny when they do it?

So if someone is doing Christian rap through a whole album, what is the problem? That is how they choose to express themselves. Is there money in Christian rap when compared to secular? If you are talented at rapping why do Christian rap if there is little money in it?

I remember hearing these dudes like Lecrae before from a dude I went to school with. In fact, he performed at the 40 acres fest at University of Texas one year.
