You can "normalize" obesity all you want on the internet, at the end of the day it will always be impractical in real life and run into various every day difficulties. She is morbidly obese. That impacts her when she sits on a toilet. It impacts her when she walks up/down stairs. It impacts her when she's shopping in a store. All things that a normal, able bodied person does without thinking.
We don't have to convince people that obesity is bad, society does that for us. As does biology, given the health issues involved. The sooner folks commit to healthier lifestyles the better.
