I've seen a lot of bad advice given on this subforum to members like selling ya body on craigslist and shyt when you can't make bills so lemme just drop this suggestion. A lot of you don't have many people you can depend on to help you out when you're in a bind. IMO your next best bet is to join a church, that church family becomes your family and they will do whatever it takes to help. I'm a sinner and I rarely go to church myself but I lived by myself in two different cities, nowhere near friends and family. When I needed help, they helped me, unfortunately can't remember any of the church's names or people's names but you get the idea. Some church members give good job references and recommendations or might hire you if their own business themselves etc. Even if you don't believe in god or you're of a different religion, fake it till you make it.

I did some Catholic choir boy type shyt when I was in military training and I ain't even Catholic, all I had to do was carry stuff and walk back and forth or some shyt I can't remember, they called us white ropes, and we were in uniform. No molesting went on that I saw, but I did it for free food and base libertiies.
