In the 21st century, in a representative democracy, we see in real time the atrocities that our elected govt., military, and big business leaders commit. We are unable to stop many of them in any way in 2025.

But somehow, the decisions of kings, military leaders, and merchants in 16th to 19th West African nation states to participate in the slave trade is blamed on the general populace of those regions .And the entire modern day populations of these countries?
There are some really under-educated members on this forum.

fukk you for trying to gaslight you are just like the cacs claiming the confederacy was not about slavery.

African kingdoms were a major partner in the slave trade.

will Burkina Faso ever allow this because they're on their way to an all black modernization

they took over their gold reserves, kicked out the foreigners and have been building like crazy.
Problem with them is that they can't tell which of us are legit or are agents. Let's not pretend our govt isn't working overtime to eliminate traore and sabotage his govt. It's even worse now that Trump turned against Putin.:whoa:

So I totally understand if the Burkunabe don't let Americans or Canadians in at all. If I worked at Langley, I'd probably send problack agents first. The last thing Traore needs is a Lumamba incident.

But I think the Caribbean brehs may have an option in Burkina Faso since there is no animosity.

Yep

And Malcolm spoke/wrote about the CIA hovering and spying on the small ex-pat community in Ghana when he visited there in 1964 , possibly embedding an agent . CIA coordinated the coup against Nkrumah a few years later.

How comes all the rich Black Americans embrace Africa and the poor ones don't 🙃
Nah,
The public embrace of Africa here that emerged en masse at different times in previous decades was always from the grassroots, first. Garvey-ites, Black is Beautiful era, late 1980s hip hop lead Afrocentric era, etc etc

Celebs are visible, and wealthy people have the resources to travel and explore exchanges and opportunities in person.

The way Benin did their people selling them into the trans Atlantic slave trade is diabolical, to say the least. When slavery was abolished the ruler of Benin did not want to stop selling people into slavery. I would stay my ass over here. Let's not get it fuzzy. The so called Black American is an amalgamation of the the Autochthonous Indians {not to be confused with Asian faced Native Americans}, mulattoes relegated to our class by way of the One Drop Rule and 2% of the population being Moors sold into slavery from France and Hispania and Africans sold into the trans Atlantic Slave Trade. America stretches from 12 miles out from the most northern part of Canada to the Falkland Islands.

1.Moors are descendants of Africans
2.Autochthonous Indians are still native and they aren't Black. Skin maybe darker than a lot of NA but they're not Black.
3.Black Americans and majority of Black ppl have very insignificant Native DNA
4. Benin Kingdom and Benin the country aren't related to each other historically because the Benin Kingdom was located in present day Nigeria.
5. We forget some of the slaves were ppl who were known trouble makers
6. One of the most notorious slave traders in America was an FBA female.
7. Majority of African American DNA is of African descent.
8. Y'all can run with this new term amalgamation that Yvette and Tariq introduced to y'all (majority of y'all never used or heard of that word before) but at the end of the day the world still looks at you like they look at Continental Africans.

To add to point 5...

From my knowledge on the history around this from people who live in Benin and study this is that the kingdoms sold captives from rival tribes that they conquered.

They fought for territory and the prisoners/captives of war were then used for trade with Europeans over time. One King (I have to look in my notes on this to get his name) wanted to stop trading Africans all together and was met with resistance due to how lucrative the industry was for them.

He then started selling people from his own tribe to prove the point to all that the act of trading Africans needed to end. His motives were drastic and divisive and fukked up but got his message across. I'm paraphrasing from memory, my apologies if I'm missing key info
