Cinemax getting into the series business appreciation

You're not going to get great stories/writing like The Wire, Sopranos, Spartacus, Dexter (the first few seasons). What you get is outrageous action,gratuitous violence,and titties; throwbacks to the 80s movies.

Strikeback season one was completely absurd in the best way possible. Two cats going to 3rd world countries and killing half the population while throwing out one liners Arnold would be proud of.

I haven't hit up Hunted yet.

Banshee just started and had a cat catch an A1 steaksauce bottle down the throat as a finisher.

Cinemax is owned by HBO, so they basically play their role and handle the movies and softcore porn which I appreciated greatly back in the day.

Showtime and TMC are owned by Showtime where showtime has the tv shows and some movies, and TMC is their equivalent to cinemax.

Agrees, Strikeback is one of my favorite shows to watch. I thought Hunted was solid, but not that great. Have Banshee on DVR, will watch later tonight.
