The post you quoted is me giving my definition of private information , what I am opposing is CISPA and the power it gives the government to access information that is held by these silicon valley multinationals on the basis of semantical tomfoolery such as "cyber threats", "cyber security risk" and my favorite "cyber terrorism".

I had to bold this part in your post , it's passive dumbfounded peasants like you who bend over and take anything the government gives you with a smile on your face, very soon you'll be living in a surveillance state where your every move is watched, all because you lost your expectation of privacy

And I have to bold this statement and relate it to your expectation of privacy. When has the internet ever been about anonymity? If you fukk up and break the law (and in some cases, if you don't), governments and corporations can track you based on your internet activities. They have always had the ability to do so. So, if you believe that, outside of strong encryption, your internet activities are somehow private, I'm not sure you understand how all of this works.


You live in a surveillance state already. But somehow you deem only corporate entities worthy of possessing your PII?

I am dumbfounded though. I'm dumbfounded at how certain citizens have an expectation of anonymity and privacy when all of their data passes through a centralized, heavily logged, and highly monitored infrastructure.
