Starting a new series for the '23, where I'd like to hear brothers and sisters opinions on how you compare the major cities in-states. Starting with the two Super Bowl city states, Pennsylvania and Missouri...

The links to the preceding entries are below:

Easy LA here. Not even close...

The Bay, to clarify, is basically a super city of San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose with dozens of suburbs in between. They are all connected by rail and plenty of shared culture...

You'd have to combine all three to make a comparison to LA, because stand alone none of these cities are anything close to what LA is...

There are positives and negatives to both but Los Angeles is arguably the greatest city in the country, it's hitting too hard in too many places over The Bay...

went to L.A. didn’t like it at all. Spent a day in Long Beach and liked it better, the people there are much more easy going

Never been to the Bay.

The thought of sitting in La traffic would have me climbing a wall

If my money is flush between the two I’d choose the bay because of the progressiveness

La seems way more congested and Wild West i wouldn’t mind a trip for a week, but after that I’d be good

But San Diego is where it’s at, a few other spots up the coast from LA like laguna negal

The fact that The Bay is a cheap 1 hr. $30 flight from LA, LV is a cheap 30 minute flight and if traffic is clear O.C is a 30 minute drive away while SD is a 2 hour drive away really makes LA special on top of what it already offers.

When they build that bullet train LA/SF would nearly be connected and getting to these other places would be even faster. That bytchass Elon Musk slowed the progress, but it'll get here.
