Before I begin let me put out this disclaimer:
1. I am not for ONE Nigeria
2. I am not for Igbo Presidency 2023

My sentiments about Nigeria is purely based on the failure of providing the basic necessities for their citizens. I will be posting daily news on the so-called giant of Africa. Anyone who wants to continue to believe in the fairy tale called Nigeria or speak highly of it because they benefit from it, this thread is not for you.

In a so-called democracy the people cannot speak out without being targeted and killed. So for those who say why cant Nigerians just have an uprising like in other countries, you will get a first-hand look at how just speaking on the truth will land you in jail or killed.

How many countries should Nigeria be? Who would govern each?

At least two. Biafra and Nigeria. But likely 4. Yorubas will not stay in Nigeria if Igbos leave. Housas and Fulanis will kill each other so that won't work either. Fulanis are from Chad, Mali, Niger, etc and basically have taken over due to the Brits who wanted to control Nigeria's natural resources but it's backfiring and Nigeria is a straight shythole where everyone wants their own country now. Biafra been needed to happen in the 60s.

That shyt is kinda sad. Seems like there’s never really been any Pan-Nigerian ideology ever other than the need for independence from Britain.

I spoke about this in one of the Discords before, hopefully ECOWAS is a fully integrated regional state when this happens so Nigeria can more safely split into separate entities while still being advocated for by a larger governmental/economic framework.

I’m a believer in regional statehood. I think it’s nonsense that Africa has so many countries. It should just be 4 or 5 larger, regional blocs. As currently constituted, Africa is vulnerable to neocolonialism and other forms of modern exploitation.

Nigeria is at a place where everyone needs to go their separate ways. When the SE screamed for Biafra we were called agitators. Now everyone including Yorubas are now calling for a separate nation. Those who want to stay with Nigeria can stay. Higher powers want to continue to profit off the foolishness called Nigeria. There is genocide happening across the country against Christians and the world is silent.

Smh that’s fukkin crazy, but I’m not surprised. I listen to enough Fela to know Nigeria been corrupt as fukk. My only concern is how viable smaller states in that region would be and if they might be vulnerable to larger nations looking to further exploit them.

What if there was a widespread revolution which addressed all grievances and remodeled the state to provide more equity across the board? Would that still not suffice?

That was what the Aburi, Ghana Accord was for and it failed because what was agreed upon by Gowon, Awolowo, & Ojukwu was not honored. Nigeria can be broken into 4 countries. This whole Nigeria has over 200+ tribes is complete rubbish. Most of these tribes are relatives and basically different dialects of the the common 4 languages. After the Civil war there was a concerted effort to divide each region into states to deliberately disassociate those who were considered 1 at one time to now be exclusively different.

Quick history of the Biafra, has it flaws, but probably the most unbiased.

What would you say some of the flaws are? I think Nigeria should split into the North and South. The North is basically useless and parasitic they would end up becoming the poorest country in the world without sucking the resources of the south

I think the narrator, minimized the role the Yorubas played in the war (narrator is Yoruba). Awolowo payment of 20 pounds to all Igbos regardless of income after the war and the blockade initiated as a war tactic starved out and killed the SE. My late grandfather, was impacted by the 20lbs rule which wiped out his account and savings. Which left my mom, who fortunately went abroad, to pay her younger sibling tuition for 10 year plus, in order for her family to survive after the war.

The South & North is also reasonable, but to avoid ethnic clashes and this need for people to see one of their own in power will be better if broken into 4. I am just in favor for the dissolution of Nigeria. The Northern region can be absorbed by its neighboring Islamic nations, and the south can have its own sovereignty

Country is a complete powder keg.

I think there is going to be a civil war and genocide in Nigeria except it will be the other way around and the Hausa fulani will be the ones to lose as the yorubas will join in against them. What do you think

From the different broadcast I listen to pertaining to Nigeria and those on the ground, there is rumbling that a civil war might occur by 2022. The Fulani want to hold on to power and their overall goal is to make Nigeria an Islamic state. Their group called Funam have been putting out smoke signals stating that Nigeria was prophesized to being their country of conquest, and that all Fulanis across Africa should migrate to Nigeria to join in the fight for their God-chosen land.

The one Nigeria and reconstructing crowd shytted on ppl speaking of separation and calling us Biafra agitators, but now they are coming South. Igbo governors, especially the fool in Imo state, Hope, who ranked 4th and the Nigerian Supreme court made him 1st because he was willing to sell out his ppl, is giving land practically free to Fulani herdsman in Mbaise. Every day I'm reading about villages being raided by these ppl and women raped as they go to the farm. Sometimes I feel like the devil setup shop in Nigeria.

Law-abiding Nigerians are now being kicked out of Ghana & Dubai. First South Africa now this. This is the humiliation ppl have to face living in other countries because of the complete FAILURE of "Africa's giant" from providing them with a stable economy and employment. Most of these people I can bet are 100% from the southern part of Nigeria.

Disgusting
