For one Caruso is a very good defender.
2nd, he can't just drive to the cup every play and then play defense with an undermanned squad full throttle. Dude already has a historically high Free Throw Rate, and basically did what only Hall of Fame level players did tonight.

and yet you want more like it's just easy to start jacking up shots vs a great defense. Unless dude was literally shooting like 80% there's no way that's happening.

I get that but he still had more chances 2 be aggressive. Look at what lebron did in the 15 finals vs GSW. He laid it all on the line with his 2nd and 3rd being injured. You just have 2 empty the clip and live with it. First half he only took 7 shots yes he had 7 dimes but still had chances for more shots

Yeah I'm not sure what people are wanting Jimmy to do, he's going up against the best defensive team in the playoffs/top 3 regular season without key pieces.

The harsh reality is just that there's a cap to what you achieve when guys like Jimmy are your best player, even if Bam/Dragic were healthy the outcome wouldn't have changed too much. Dudes were trying to get cute before the series started instead of keeping it simple. This game has and always will cater to superstar talent, one team has two while the other doesn't have one.

Lakers defense was horrible this gane. Miami was 50-40-90 as a team! The problem was they couldn't play defense either and got down 2 big
