Death Row never recovered. Plenty of West Coast artists (including the same people that were at Death Row) sold plenty of records after both PAC & Big died. NY hip hop died about 10-15 years later. Nah. Pac was told on Rikers Big & Stretch had nothing to do with him getting robbed. But Pac already did that Vibe interview with Kevin Powell that was released in 95 throwing them under the bus. Pac got mad at those nikkas for them feeling some type of way at what he said about them first lol

I’m assuming you’re talking about Atlanta. What we’ve been told, is Suge instigated the fight in Atlanta that led to Jake getting killed by Wolf. Hence people say ‘Suge started it’.

But let’s really think about that…1) we don’t know what Puff said to Suge that made Suge yolk Puff up (some say slap, I find a yolk up more probable)

We do have hints from either Gene or Reggie, I can’t remember. And I can’t remember if they were talking about that night or just in general, but they said something to the effect of ‘Suge was tryin to bully Puff but he (Puff) had killers too, he wasn’t goin for it’.

So again it comes down to for whatever reason people believe Suge and Death row were more fearsome and loud and street than Puff n them. Nah. So we can’t really say Suge ‘started it’ bc who knows what a prime cocky Puff said/did

2- A fight is a fight. But if one side introduces gunplay and kills 1 from the other, aint it that side that ‘started it’??

suge & jake got into an argument with wolf and his best friend jason, over a girl at jahmaine Dupree‘s birthday party.
security removed both parties from the facility, where in the beef continued into the parking lot - which resulted into jason shooting and killing jake … puff wasn’t even present when that whole shyt went down , he supposedly arrived like 10-20 minutes later

unfortunately, the narrative is to connect whatever dots to make puff & biggie the blame & give every excuse in the world to the 2 individuals, who started this whole fukking nonsense

What SHOULD’VE happened was a man to man conversation with him and Biggie and none of this shyt would’ve been a problem. But nope. Biggie ignored his calls, Biggie refused to help him with bail money and people reached out to ask. Biggie moved mad corny. Even Gene Deal said the way Biggie handled that was foul and he wasn’t moving like a friend. All KINDA shyt was done and said about Pac for the rest of that year leading up to Pac’s release. Then nikkas wanna act shocked and surprised when he gets out and is actually able to respond and he was pissed. Pac gets out. The DPG trailer shyt happens. Then nikkas throwing shots in the Jay Z video. And this is all before any diss records from Pac was released. nikkas was dissing the nikka at shows and hiding the hands. Alotta shyt was going down and then they were gaslighting him in public. And funny thing is they STILL are.
