different dynamic tho considering Chuck D was the main rapper for the most part

whereas Cube and Ren and Dre shared rapping duties

but you're right for sure. I prefer their two main albums over SOC as well

but Cube solo >>>>>>>
As a group NWA definitely has classic material but if not for all the controversy I doubt they'd be viewed as they are. Cube and Dre had to leave to reach their full potential. Hell AMW wouldn't have been what it was without that Bomb Squad production

It Takes a Nation: 36/36 - 100%
Fear of a Black Planet: 33/35 - 94%

Didn't see this in time to vote. Always considered Apocalypse '91 to be a classic and a better album than Fear Of A Black Planet. FOABP has too many skippable tracks. A91 has maybe 1. For some reason it doesn't get the love it deserves.

It Takes A Nation…is an obvious classic/top 5 album of all time.

Nation of Millions hands down. I suppose you could argue Bumrush the show bit I thought it was a bot rough around the edges at the time. I now enjoy that aspect of it. Fear of a Black Planet could be argued too though I thought it ran a bit long in spots and songs started blending into one another towards the end.
