"her face in my personal space" line was cold but that nikka had to change up his lyrics due to using those samples. i guess in order to use samples the original artist has a say on what can be said in a song. i wonder what the unfiltered live in concert sounded like?

Yeah some artists have been known to deny sample usage if they don't like the subject matter or the language on the song.

I think Aretha didn't want to clear the sample for Ye's School Spirit unless he didn't curse on the song...

i don't think it has to be cleared to use it live in concert. i thought people could play and perform any song they want live. if he recorded it and put it on the album then yeah the artist or whiever owns the publishing usually has the right to sayu you can't use the sample if you curse. it happens a lot, Slippin is another example.

Hate it when Coli posters don't know what they're talking about because they haven't' watched a video/read the article.

Live i Concert is the name of the EP.
