Again like I said, if Irving was to name the best PGs in the game, there would be more shoot first ones than pass first ones.


Not unless he can prove me wrong, he won't be. It's no coincidence that the #1 seed in each conference for the past half a decade had a shoot first PG. I mean we're not talking about Rondo averaging 16, 17 points per game...... he's barely averaging 10..... you can't be an elite offensive player if you can barely average double digits points.... it's pathetic to even suggest so.

Nah it's funny you say this tho. I actually didn't like Rondo like until 2009-2010 season. I was a die-hard Pierce/Allen fan. It was when Curry named him (Rondo) as a good PG. It was like Steph's rookie or sophomore year.I was like . But I understood, when I watched the POs in 2010. Dude was a beast.

Yeah, but the best player on those teams wasn't the PG. Rondo with an elite dude like Durant or Davis would be deadly.

His playmaking skills are above superior, so I really don't care that he doesn't score a lot. I like that he puts his teammates in good spots for easy buckets.

yeah, every win is a bonus to me. most idiots thought the Celtics would be one of the worst teams in the league, i knew better. rondo has already rebuilt his trade value so at the very least, if they do trade him (and i don't want them to) they're going to get back a haul... not a kevin love type haul, but the Celtics will get something good for him if he continues playing this well. same goes for jeff green who has quietly been pretty good as well...

everybody on the team has improved their stock, olynyk, sully, thornton, turner as stevens puts them in roles that play to their strength...

it's amazing danny got thornton, zeller, AND a 1st round pick for a trade exception... which is basically part 2. of the pierce/garnett trade where they got it and raped the nets

all we need is a defensive center

shouldn't be an argument, aside from the last 7 seconds of the game, he's been terrific all season and is playing as well as he ever has. so much for the "rondo only puts up numbers cause he's playing with pierce/garnett/allen argument" or the doc rivers system argument

people want to argue about his shooting or scoring but he's running a top 3 offense in the NBA right now in every statistical category
