Clinton holds narrow leads in five battleground states

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton leads Republican rival Donald Trump by single digits in five critical battleground states, according to post-debate polls for each battleground.

Clinton tops Trump in Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia in Public Policy Polling (PPP) surveys out Thursday.

She owns a 7-point edge in Colorado, grabbing 51 percent to Trump’s 44 percent.
Clinton, meantime, boasts a 3-point advantage in Florida, squeaking past the billionaire, 48 to 45 percent.

The secretary of State tops Trump by 4 points in North Carolina, netting 49 percent of likely voters there to Trump's 45 percent.

Clinton is also ahead in Pennsylvania, 49 to 44 percent, and grabs 49 percent to Trump’s 43 percent in Virginia.

Pollsters also found that Trump trails the former first lady when third-party candidates enter the fray.

Clinton hold single-digit leads over challengers including Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson and Green nominee Jill Stein in all five states.

She has 6-point leads in Colorado, Pennsylvania and Virginia, and a 2-point leads in Florida and North Carolina.

PPP conducted its latest polls from Sept. 27-28, after the first presidential debate. The margin of error is 3.7 percent in Colorado, 3.4 percent in Florida and Virginia, and 3.3 percent in North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Clinton leads Trump by 3 points nationwide, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of samplings.

I'm so tired of polls and the American public.

:mjlol:

Agreed. I don't pay much attention to them, no matter who they say is leading. I hope Trump wins, but it is still tough for me to see that happen with the political landscape right now.

Ohio isn't a battleground state anymore? Is it not mentioned because she doesn't have a lead there?

It's still a toss up but looks like Trump is leading by 1 on average

Which is pathetic by the Clinton campaign cause they have so many offices and Trump has nothing like that

If any Senator wins, it will be in spite of Clinton. The most surprising race to me is NC. The Senate candidate is running ahead of her.

If she was a stronger presidential candidate Dems would have NC, OH, PA, IL, WI, CO, NV, probably FL and have a chance in Missouri. They may still take the Senate but some races are closer than they should be and other aren't as close as it should be.

Yup..

Deborah Ross is a progressive and surprise, surprise.. has a message resonating with people in NC.

Marco Rubio was very vulnerable and the Dems put out Murphy who lied on his resume, has ridden his pops cash, and used to be a Repub to boot :mjlol:

Trump has to win Pennsylvania to win the election basically. That and pull out every other swing state that's a toss up. Probably not going to happen.

At this point it's a tie for all intents and purposes. Could go either way. :francis:

Although if you put a gun to my head and forced me to guess what'll happen, my guess is Clinton probably squeaks by with a close win as long as there are no major scandals between now and the election.
