Nobody wants a 6'0, malcontent barking in their ears like a chihuahua that just saw the mailman when that malcontent is no longer producing to the level that the insufferable has to be suffered. Shannon said it best -- tolerance will never be higher than production. He's washed and nipping at the heels of everyone like he's been to the mountain top and his knees aren't past their expiration date.

There's a reason this never happened to Vince Carter and D. Rose. There's a reason Mike Conley is still on a roster while Chris is being told his voice is no longer needed.

:yeshrug:

Exactly once you stop producing your done

Should have been like Jeff Green and Garrett temple

ITS NOT SUBJECTIVE ITS A FACT.

THE MOST ALL STAR APPEARANCES
THE MOST ALL NBA APPEARANCES
THE MOST ALL DEFENSE APPEARANCES
THE MOST PLAYOFF APPEARANCES

HES EASILY THE GREATEST PLAYER
IN THAT FRANCHISES HISTORY
AND TOOK THEM FROM
DECADES OF BEING THE NBAS
LAUGHING STOCK TO RELEVANCE

BALMER KAWHI, PG NOR HARDEN
WOULD BE THERE IF NOT
FOR CP3.

And at the end of the day none of that shyt mattered to the clippers. This whole thing has showed that clearly there are levels to being the franchise legend. For as much as cp3 did to make them relevant the team never made it past the second round, the bar for the clippers was always extremely low

Especially since he's washed. Kawhi has two rings and two MVPs

Harden been in the league forever and one of the few guys producing on that team

Why would any team even want Chris Paul at this time. Old nukka would prob complain about minutes and stir up discord

It's over brehs

I think they are giving him a chance to sign with a contender since they know they are going to be ass this year.

Who that team is? I don't know.

If that happens, it's a byproduct and so be it, but they didn't send him a, "Stay Away," text in Atlanta at 2 in the morning because they wished the best for him. :mjlol:

All these fans clamor for the old days but are criticizing a hall of fame vet for being vocal :gucci:

This is always the role the OG is supposed to play. It doesn't matter if they're washed up or down on their luck. They have experience and insight accumulated over a lifetime. The frustration is not that what he's saying is false. The annoyance is that he's telling you the truth that you don't want to hear that in the moment. Goofy shyt from the Clippers especially with him signing essentially to retire with them!

That shyt works with younger rosters. When half of the roster can be considered a vet themselves players who've played in Olympic Finals NBA finals they dont need to hear that same veteran voice every other day. Once in a while is fine. Bottom line is always know your audience.

only CP0 would think he could hold people accountable while averaging 2.9 ppg :russ:

dude should have stfu and just enjoyed the ride. This team wasn't going anywhere when he decided to come back

Yall crazy putting the blame on Paul. The Clippers are a joke. They look even worse from a PR standpoint. Your team is going nowhere now or in the future. Frank knows his job is on the line. Now i like Ty lue so I hope Cp didn't criticize him. But if guys are missing defensive assignments.Chris has a right to call his teammates out. Paul probably planting seeds to take Frank job after retirement. Lawrence Frank sent him home after that

Haslem did. If a hall of fame player like Chris paul can't hold people accountable, then we have a problem. I dont care how the message comes across

CP3 IS THE MOST HERALDED
PLAYER IN FRANCHISE HISTORY.

STOP PRETENDING THIS IS
AN ISAIAH THOMAS TO THE CAVS SITUATION.

HE HAS THE CACHET TO HOLD
EVERYONE IN THAT FRANCHISE ACCOUNTABLE.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT VETS
OF THAT STATUE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO
WHETHER THEY'RE PLAYING
WELL AT THE MOMENT OR NOT

Nah, he's gotta do something, hell anything positive on the court to help improve the situation, and that wasn't happening at all. He can barely move at this stage of his career. We're the oldest team in the league. Ripping his fellow teammates that have been in the league 15 plus yrs and have made multiple all star teams isn't going to fly while you're getting DNPs and can barely get the ball past half court.

A great hall of fame player, but also a well known a$$hole. Retire and join the coaching staff if he has to always get his "holding teammates accountable" angle in.

CP is well documented dikkhead locker room guy.

He could get away with that when he was a superstar and perennial all star caliber player.

Nobody’s putting up with that from a washed up 40 year old point guard averaging 2 points a game.

People respect results more than the man you are, but once those favorable results either go away or are greatly diminished you are expendable.
