It was always gonna end this way for CP3. Same with Rondo. The’re dikkheads. And they can’t help it. It’s just in their fabric.

The problem with all dikkheads is they all get thrown out in dikkhead fashion…unless you’re an immortal dikkhead like MJ and Kobe

Still Nasty work though. And the fact that Lue refused to speak to him or even take a meeting sounds like things went way past personal. It almost sounds like CP3 Udoka’d his wife or something.

How long was he in Golden State and San Antonio. And how come he can't stay on one team and be a Udonis Haslem type?

BECAUSE THE TEAMS WERE MOVING
ON WITH YOUNGER PLAYERS
AND HE OBVIOUSLY WANTED TO PLAY
SO HE LEFT
WHICH IS WHY HE BUMPED HEADS IN LAC.

"THIS TEAM SUCKS
SO THERES NO REASON
TO GIVE ME DNPS
AND GARBAGE TIME MINUTES "

There are certain types of people who always have a problem with truth tellers like CP.

I'm seeing all this shyt about well maybe Chris Paul wasn't "respectful" in the way he talked to Ty Lue and Lawrence Frank. Uh how do you respectfully tell a GM you put together a shyt team and a coach your offense is ass your defense is ass?

It's the dumb people do dumb shyt but then get mad if you call them dumb cause calling them dumb is "disrespectful".

Like I said it's clear they were trying to "punish" him against Miami sending him out there in garbage time with 4 young players who don't play much. Straight sucka shyt :smh:

But the organization has been jumping out the window for a player who demanded under the table money, missed half this season, played one game and instantly said the team needs more talent :smh:

CP was probably like you guys simping for this nikka thats done more for OKC winning a title than the clippers and they probably got offended he called them simps to they faces and cut him.

Laughing at the thought Chris Paul running around the locker room screaming about all the problems, but as soon as he mentions golden boy Kawhi they like aight that's enough outta you lil nikka :camby:

Most coaches would respect the voice and output of Chris Paul, regardless of how he's played this season. He's a veteran and future Hall of Famer; he's earned the right to be respected amongst his peers (players and coaches).

When he was in Golden State and San Antonio, these problems didn't exist because the players and, most importantly, the coaches respected his opinion because he's one of the best basketball minds you could have in a locker room.
You compared him to Bron just past his prime.

And people listen to people they like and respect. Chris Paul is a nut puncher.

If things weren't already low in LA, they've now reached a new low.

The Clippers did Chris Paul a disservice, waving him off during his retirement tour, and for what exactly? Releasing him at this point isn't going to suddenly make the team any better than they already are.

I hear it's because of his relationship with Ty Lue; apparently, Lue didn't want Chris lecturing him on certain schemes, coaching plays, etc. Which is funny because I doubt he had an issue when Bron was calling the shots every now and then during those few seasons together.

I got nothing against Ty Lue but I'm wondering when the Clippers are gonna fire/release his ass because his whole time there has been pretty much a failure, at one point he was viewed as an elite coach but nowadays I'm not soo sure about that as his stock has gone down the past 2-3 seasons. His time with the Clippers should be coming to an end soon.

The reality is that he ain't no better than Doc.
Many people thought the Clippers were the second best team in the West last year right before the playoffs started.

One of the main reasons why people had high hopes for this season is because of the coaching staff. Lue worked wonders with what he had.

Lue should be safe. Only thing he should be worried about are the Feds.

I compared him to Bron because they're both all-time greats, prime or not. Whenever guys like this are talking basketball and giving their opinion, people are going to listen; they have elite basketball minds.

In Paul's defense, he's one of the greatest PGs of all time, and a definite Hall of Famer, so when he's talking and giving suggestions, he's not just rambling at the mouth; on the court, he knows what an effective game plan, schemes, etc, is and isn't.

Coaches in Phoenix, Golden State, and San Antonio didn't have a problem with him voicing his thoughts because this is Chris Paul we're talking about.

A part of me thinks Ty Lue might've been jealous of Paul's input simply because he's a better player than he ever was, and although he's a coach now, he probably felt CP3 giving his opinion was a threat to him losing the locker room because players were more likely to follow Paul's opinion due to the aforementioned.

Talk your shyt bro. The only thing i disagree with is, “being the franchise legend”. Paul played there for only 6 seasons and never won anything, he’s not a franchise legend at all.

Tell it like it is

The Clippers made the playoffs before Chris Paul
The Clippers wet the bed in the second round before Chris Paul

They made the playoffs consistently with Chris Paul
They were consistently on national tv with Chris Paul

If that’s the bar then Paul George is the franchise GOAT considering they took them the furthest in the face of doubt :manny:

He was still good in Phoenix

He was not re-signed in Golden State or San Antonio.

The Clippers are a mess, but absolving Chris Paul, who is a nut puncher, from this ain’t right either. No one wants to hear from someone they don’t like.
