Talk your shyt bro. The only thing i disagree with is, “being the franchise legend”. Paul played there for only 6 seasons and never won anything, he’s not a franchise legend at all.

He is a franchise legend. They never had any sustained success before him. As soon as they got Chris they at least made the playoffs every year and sold out the arena every night. He and Blake gave the Clippers a sliver of relevancy they never had prior.

There’s no such thing as a 6 year franchise legend whi never won a ring.

These dudes don't watch basketball fam. They have no idea how bad that franchise was. The day Chris Paul announced he was signing with the Clippers the skies parted and mad heavenly light shone. He was THAT important the day he showed up.

Which is funny because I doubt he had an issue when Bron was calling the shots every now and then during those few seasons together.

What was Lebron's resume at the time?
What was Lebron averaging?
Was he considered a top 3 player in the world, or was he at the tail end of his career averaging 3 points a game & getting DNPs?

Ty Lue also -- by his own admission-- got into with Lebron. Ideally, it doesnt matter what you've done or where you are currently as a player, but in reality, it absolutely does. There's no way anyone in that Clippers locker room is tolerating Chris barking. He no longer has that cache and they don't value his voice like that. You have to read the room.

This smells like an owner with a very big head. At the same time he’s never thought about the effects of an actual cap.

Kinda trash communication that the Coli had to pass this to the owners and op mgmt

Yeah it is when you’re able to get out of your Celtics bubble and judge the circumstance in its own context. CP3 changed the direction of the franchise and a whole fanbase was built around he and Blake. It’s as simple as that.
