that knicks-rockets series was greatness..it was raw and had that emotion..and brutal as fukk :ohlawd:
Just watching these clips every play they showed somebody was pushing, bumping or grabbing each other even after made baskets or loose balls. Just a physical ass series.

I can only speculate, but i don't think Grant leaves if the bulls win the title in 94 so it looks like this

Perdue/Longley/Wennington
Grant/Simpkins
Pippen/Kukoc
Jordan/Myers/Jud
Armstrong/harper/kerr

I think what would've happened is after playing orlando 3 to 4 times in the regular season, Phil would've adjusted his lineup in the playoffs and started harper with jordan and brought in armstrong/kerr to guard Shaw.

Also the bulls would've won 60+ games with this lineup intact all season have homecourt advantage and winning the title.
If Jordan was still around it was more likely Grant would've left. He HATED Jordan. Not only that but the Bulls would've been more stingy with money as they would've had to pay Jordan and Kukoc at the same time and Grant was looking to get paid at the time.

You are right Grant still would have left. The magic needed a PF bad and signed grant to a 1 year deal then gave him a long-term contract the next year I believe if memory is right. It was a way to get around the salary cap. Cause they could only sign him for so much as a free agent but could resign him for whatever they wanted under the bird rules.

Anyway Krause did not believe grant was worth that much and felt Kukoc could play PF. That is why when the magic beat the bulls in the 1995 NBA playoffs they huddles around and picked up horace as he was waving his towel.

This is complete bullshyt.....after dropping 55 it was most definitely "he's back" - but after his poor performance and late blunders in Game 1 to the Magic, people were most definitely looking at him like :patrice: -- AND as he couldnt close games and was clearly fatigued late in games in that series, that feeling increased even moreseo.....so Im calling bullshyt on you if you telling me this wasnt the case.
I don't recall that. I simply don't but you likely can be right

I def remember that being the talk after the series bc he had some costly turnovers late in games, shot an air ball wth 2 TOs late in the ORL game 6 clincher....
Game 1 he had 2 turnovers in the final 10 seconds and Nick Anderson was quoted as saying "number 45 is NOT number 23"....then Jordan switched back to #23

I still have the Slam mag from that summer with Jordan on the cover and the whole story was about him having something to prove and questions to answer bc of his play in that series.
