I always see Coli posters posting that someone needs 200K - 300K or so to live in NYC, LA or DC

Looks like that myth has been exposed and that some of you might be entitled brats who are just very bad with money.

Well, living comfortably is extremely subjective.

For a single person in Atlanta. If you trying to live in a decent spot and live a decent lifestyle, you’re gonna need like 80k minimum.

I got fam in DC and my homeboy just moved up there like 2 years ago. He makes like 100k. He moved up there from Florida. He just told me he’s trying to get back to Florida cause the housing and cost of living in DC is ridiculous. So from his standpoint, he probably needs like 200k to be comfortable up there. He has a wife and two kids. Said he don’t get no bang for his buck up there.

At a certain point you really gotta ask yourself if it's even worth it. People are out here spending thousands to live in shoe closets with basically nothing left over to even enjoy the city's attractions :snoop:
