My CRITICISM has nothing to do with Mexico. You really think I posted a link to a show called Searching for Mexico without knowing it was about Mexico?
I read that book from last year Down & Out In Paradise, which contained a lot about Bourdain's last days, and it was pretty bleak.
He got addicted to the CNN show lifestyle, and wrecked himself with food, alcohol, travel, isolation, and yes falling unhealthily in love with Asa Argento.

They have and Netflix tried it with somebody feed Phil too. That shyt was so boring and he was being so extra. That’s the hot ticket right now, traveling eating drinking chopping it up with people as a “job”. Don’t get no better.

These guys are not nearly as interesting as Bourdain. And none of them can touch politics/economics/culture and keep traveling safely in these spots.
