I read recently about the toxic racism Serena especially faced playing tennis throughout her illustrious career..terrible stuff, then she goes and marries a cac. Cant make this stuff up

I got whiplash when I saw that

If you've been to any of the matches overseas, they used to call her all kinds of insults based on her being black
The cartoons they drew of her were wild
The amount of nonsense her dad had to shield her from during those interviews was disgusting

Yet she still went and married a regular looking white man. Like the blatant racism wasn't enough
Its one thing to date white because they always gave u special status for being an athlete
But whole other thing to date white when they are directly racist to you year after year, match after match

In Serena defense, im sure she would have married Common or Drake if that's what they wanted.

It seems like she wanted brehs. Brehs just didn't want her.

And she was getting older and older and she wanted to have the experience of being a mother.


I have to give her a pass even though I hate interracial relationships.
