:mjlol::camby:but they are not MK8 is nothing like it's shytty predecessor same with smash, the same could be said for any sequel in a series with prettier graphics Street fighter 5, Forza 6, Halo 5. I'm talking about you playing exactly the same games not ones with similar gameplay dumbass.
All those games have evolved as well, you just made a dumbass comment while still enjoying dropping banana peels in Mario Kart 20+ years later :mjlol:

Nintendo fans are probably the most hypocritical all around. They shyt on remasters, but essentially buy the same games over and over for decades. The last significant new "IP" Nintendo came up with was a pack-in.

Can't even speak proper english... you mean most hypocritical not "most hypocrite". I wasn't even speaking to you breh and I wasn't trying to start any console wars till Meach started talking shyt. Second MarioKart 8 V MKWii is a massive difference the track design with the twisting bends and zero gravity changes the feel of the game and the game is on an entirely different engine the only 2 Mario Karts I've owned were DD and MK8.

I admit MKWii was a straight rehash from DD but I wasn't fukking with the Wii anyway. You must be fanboy blind to ignore that shyt whereas Forza is just another level pack with the same old boring sim gameplay. I didn't say they didn't evolve aside from Forza which is just prettier graphics and new cars. I was just comparing them to smash and kart but your dumbass can't read. Streetfighter much like smash is just new characters with slightly tweaked mechanics. As for Halo what major gameplay change has the fifth instalment got?

Yeah rehash

aside from NSMB and MarioParty games which i don't buy anyway you have no argument. And I don't care about using the same characters as long as the gameplay feels fresh and different like how Sunshine is nothing like Galaxy.

FYI Splatoon can be bought separately so it's not a pack-in you retard.

You are highlighting games that I never brought up. What I am saying is that Nintendo rehashes PLENTY of games and just shuffles characters all around over and over again.

Street Fighter is an impressive series which has set the standard in fighting games since it was ever released. You know how hard it is to incorporate different fighting styles and maintain balance? It's the reason it's been the king in fighting games for so long. IMO The Smash Bros series is absolute shyt, I cannot believe that series is taken as seriously as it is by gamers.

Forza has evolved big time, you have clearly never played those games with a comment like that. They basically perfected the sim racer and kept it open enough with the rewind mechanic so that casuals aren't turned off by it like Gran Turismo does on the PlayStation. Forza Horizon 2 is an incredible game and easily the best open world racing game ever released.

Halo has improved the FPS genre on consoles for 14 years now. The first was a rushed product that Bungie was working on for the Mac. The second added dual-wielding weapons and small incremental updates over time. The Multiplayer in Halo is where they have contributed most to the gaming world and you'd be ridiculous to try and minimize that.

You made the point that nintendo console owners were hypocrites for just buying games that were essentially remasters I highlighted that you were wrong they have had more or less the same amount of evolution for those two cherry picked examples you used as other actual sequels in the industry. The only actual remaster we've had this gen was WWHD(a 10 yr old game at the time) and I won't ever buy that since I beat it on GCN ages ago.

That doesn't mean we are playing the same games it just means people like you who can't handle seeing the same faces are not patient enough to experience a new style of gameplay just because it has the same shallow (mario ain't meant to be deep) colourful characters.

The same about StreetFighter can be said for Smash but I can't take your opinion seriously since your shytting on a game series that has extremely technical move sets unique to each character that have different ranges, power and trajectory and custom fighting mechanics rather than just remembering one big combo on the command list. Every time Sakurai adds a new character, the game must be carefully rebalanced 64 Melee brawl and Smash 4 all have completely different physics and feel entirely different (which explains why most smash champions at their respective game do not translate their winning streaks to the next game in the series because of the discrepancies between games) as well as game modes, unique stages, features and huge graphical jumps.

I guess that's your taste though with respect to Smash, just like how I despise boring racing sims speaking of which I wasn't talking about Forza Horizon(an arcade racer) which has some innovation at least (The same could be said for Mario Kart 8 which is only the 4th console instalment not counting handhelds) I meant normal Forza which is just a sim racer and sim racers in general are just big rehashes that try to mimic real life driving experience.
I've played two of the Forza games twice once on Xbox 360 once on XBox one, it was pretty much the same boring game.

It's ok when you have one or two games in the series per gen but 6 games within 10 years where you do the same old thing... come on son. Small incremental changes are not revolutionary and bigger changes have occurred in MK between games and it's not the impact on the industry that counts... it's the actually variance of gameplay from each title. Now because it's a story based game it gets a pass but it's going into game 6 game 7 if you count reach so they've milked the franchise to death in such a short period of time.

I'm gonna end this shyt here since you hate smash and I hate sim racers and there's nothing we can do to change that and the thread got fukking derailed, blame it on Meach I didn't start this shyt all I said was PS3 and Wii U for the win, meaning I'm happy with what I've got for this year and next and I was just saying why I won't upgrade to the current gen. I wasn't actually shytting on anyone's console choices until people started shytting on mine which I did as a quick rebuttal.
