Time.

But serious question, what iconic song does Beyoncé have? Crazy in Love. Bills, bills, bills?
:patrice:
I love Halo though. I would dare to say that’s iconic.
:wow:

She doesnt have any harldy, probably single ladies but notice the quality:mjlol:.Lowkey Brandy is more of an icon and had a better music career/legacy. Halo is garbage pop elevator music in the rnb realms.

She may be an icon as a performer, but i prefer my musicians to have the music to back up the performance. Beyonce has gotten by on blackballing, and is the product of a weak era of female musicians that she helped spawn:respect:

She could not have competed in any other era. Point blank period.

She spelled it the way its pronounced,at least shes using her brain to have a thoughtful dialogue.

Her first mistake is most of those people she listed arent icons in the first place. It takes music that is timeless to be a musical icon:respect:

Y'all are right. I was thinking of another word :snoop: I'm doomed right along with them

You can measure a tree by its fruits.
Icons have imitators.

Can’t be iconic without it.

Im saying she probably spelled it wrong. But when people say the word "matter",most people prounounce it "madder" instead of with the two t's. At least most of the people I know,so she is wrong but she is right:respect:

I think it's because the type of media (especially social media) that the youth culture consumes is too decentralized and Artist development representatives haven't figured out a way to capture representation across all of the new formats. That's part of the reason why I think that little white girl who interviewed drake was an industry attempt to create that type of avenue.

There's no TRL, rap city, or 106 and park for artists hop on and get closer to the fans and the type of artists that get into music don't really have the personalities to have people committed to subscribing to their YouTube/twitch streams.

The type of icons we saw in 20th century probably won't happen again.

Came in to say this

Oh yeah, also: if you have to ask...
