Put one of the top wrestlers in the world in a pointless half year fued with lame ass Bray Wyatt and Elias then have him get squashed by Kane multiple times then complain that he's not over enough brehs

This old Vince fella seem's to not like making money. His business moves come off as counterintuitive.

)But Vince is making money. WWE last quarter had one of their best quarters ever. It's a publicly traded multi billion dollar company. I'm pretty sure Vince and co. know what they are doing

If we are talking about "favorable with the fans" then maybe they are missing the boat on Finn, and I can rock with that. Personally, I'd rather him win the IC title a few times before sniffing the Universal Title...and he definitely shouldn't be going over Brock or Braun at all for that title. Dude is one of the most over rated "wrestlers" in a while. He is popular as hell and I won't deny his "charisma" to fans...but his "wrestling" is not nearly as good as other people and it's mostly because he looks tiny in the ring.
I don't even think he can lift up Apollo Crews or Elias
imagine him beating Brock Lesnar - who has been booked to be a monster and is built like a tank - with a bunch of kicks to the leg...an irish whip "sling blade", a suicide flip dive, and then a double knee stomp

When they signed Finn I'm sure they assumed he would be to the company what AJ is for them now. The issue is Finn has never been that good. He was the NJ jr ace for four years and no one was clamoring for him to get signed to the WWE because he was a pretty generic, above average worker. His heel character work with the Bullet Club is what elevated him and what allowed him to be a good promo, and he just has none of that same sauce as a face, especially with he and the WWE grasping at straws to make the demon king a "thing".
AJ got to do the heel-ish Roman and the fully heel Cena feuds that brought him right back to his Bullet Club wheelhouse and he's been gold ever since. Of course, even when floating around as a bland face before and recently with the US title stuff, AJ has being one of the greatest workers ever to fall back on.
He really needs a heel run. His ceiling as a face without it is exactly where he's at right now. He's not all too special otherwise.

They had a potential big IC title feud with The Miz way back and decided, instead, to go all spooky with Bray. Which helped no one.
Which I get, since I assume Miz's long IC title reign was either his reward for the Cena match at Mania or they didn't want anyone else with that particular belt. But it still would have done Finn some good even if he didn't take the belt. Since his return, he's been just kind of...there.

I agree he should be competing for the IC title currently, hopefully the big boss doesn't put him in another pointless feud again with Miz, while reigns never defend's his title because he's busy in traditional tag matches or six man tags. The only way I could only see Fin taking out Brock is if he get's injured before his match or during their match either Reigns or Braun jump brock. I've actually never seen Fin pick up anyone on E, Eddie was much shorter than Fin and was still able to pick up men bigger than Fin, heck he even lifted brock. I'm a wrestling fan... never on these boards (or in life) do I "stan" anyone...or "hate" anyone.
Honestly my favorite wrestler the last decade has been Punk
but to me it's all entertaining. Roman is entertaining, Braun, Brock, Cena, etc. I can't remember a time I explicitly said anything about DB but he has good qualities. I honestly never saw the HUGE appeal that made him over like that (I think it was a bunch of white people who were average who wanted to get behind another white average person) but I wouldn't disrespect his craft either
