Cold air intake mod

Replacing the stock intake box with a short ram or whatever other cold air intake system doesn't make that much of a difference. I just replace the paper air filter with a washable K&N cloth filter in the stock air box because I can go longer in between air filter cleanings rather than changing out a paper filter. I see minimal increases in fuel efficiency.

Going with a cold air intake and no other mods will result in minimal increases in HP "only while driving in the upper RPM range". The amount of air your car draws in isn't improved with a CAI unless your paper element is really, really dirty, or you have a turbo charger and the stock air element is restrictive. To really get more air into engine requires a turbo charger or super charger.

I have an SRI, looks cool when I pop the hood, car picks up and accelerates much better, and it sounds great on the highway.
