I'm entering he age ofI ain't trying to hear none of these cats, I'm honestly amazed RHQ and Migos are still around a year later, young thug is terrible (tho he does make a hook entertaining), this bobby shmurda will be chief keef status, and the rest of these weak kids - meat loaf, rae smurder or whatever the fukk they are...if you were born after 1989 I ain't checking for you.
Rae Sremmurd might be around for a little minute. Who knows if they write their own stuff, but they can spit it and perform their asses off. I'm thinking that's whats going to separate alot of acts - the live performance. Watching the BET HipHop Awards performances, i noted that Young Thug and RHQ cant perform for shyt... songs sound terrible live, NO energy, nothing! I guess most ppl hear the music in their cars, phones, or at a club, but the make or break for alot of acts has been how they sound live. I'd hate for rappers to move into the lip sync lane
