Aldo follows his corners plan to a fault. He's truly like a soldier listening to his general. He's extremely loyal to Dede and will do anything he says no questions asked. If he says don't kick he won't. Even if they're there.

I just felt he had a better chance if he made it to round 5 where aldo would be more tired/slow...but with that ending it obv didn't even matter

i hear ya. aldo's cardio is an issue but kz wasn't really pushing him hard. he wasn't aggressive on the feet, he wasn't clinching up or going take downs or anything, so i don't think it would've been as much of a factor.

It seemed like Aldo was too strong to even grapple with like that, but I haven't seen the zombie fight before tonight. It was fun to see the small glimpses of when he went into zombie mode. Definitely needed to move his feet more and bounce around.

I thought Zombie's boxing was on point, but Aldo's grappling was impressive. fukked up that Zombie dislocated his shouler, he had some really good striking when Aldo was backing up against the cage, but Aldo outclassed him.

And fukk it if Machida got screwed, another W for Black Excellence!!! First Rampage, Jones, and now Phil!!!

Aldo looked very mediocre in this fight. I know he hasn't looked as good as his WEC days, but to say he's looked like ass in his fights is downright dumb, come on breh. He beat the former LW champ Frankie more decisively than Bendo did. KO'd Mendes with ease, @ saying that was 'luck'. Beat Florian easily, although his performance wasn't up to his usual par.
