These type of things depend on the dealer to and technically they have to prove that the part changed caused the problem. The thing for me is I can swap it out myself before taking it in, only reason I did it and didn’t have to cut or alter anything
How much power did you gain? I seen people shave off 0.2-0.3 seconds off

Not sure but it definitely pulls a bit more then before. Active Autowerke says around 20-25 without a tune

Auto finally crapped out in my e46 wagon, which means it's time for it to get swapped to a 5spd 
Found a guy selling a kit on fb marketplace that came with a newish clutch (2k miles) and 15lb single mass flywheel for $1500. Just got back from picking it up today. Gonna be a week or two before I can get some rack time at my friend's shop, and one of his employee's agreed to help me install it during an upcoming weekend, but hopefully I can be back up and running with this sooner than later.

Finally got some rack time at my friend's shop friday. Took us about eight hours to do the swap. Between the single mass flywheel, weight loss going to manual from automatic, and the shorter gearing ratio due to keeping the auto differential (3.46), it feels like a whole different car. I was happy with just keeping it as a grocery getter prior to this, but now I'm starting to get the mod bug for it smh
