I grew up religious and still believe in god, but I don't think hell exists.
I honestly think that once you die, you are in the same state as you were before being born, not aware of anything going on. My grandmother was in the same religion as me and was a nice person and she died in 2020, I don't think shes in heaven chilling at a Marvin Gaye concert or something
I think, like every other dead person, she not aware of ANYTHING that is going on right now because she's dead. I think the pro God people back in the Bible days, like Noah, Moses, etc, are dead also with zero awareness of anything after they died.. Same goes for God opps in the bible days, like the Egyptian Army, etc.

Heaven seems like it would be more dangerous anyway, it wasn't Satan killing every first born and flooding entire planets whenever he got salty with someone. imagine the kind of punishment you would face if you pissed off God while arting in heaven.

Hell is a fear based construct created and sensationalized by 1st Century Christians and the Roman Catholic church. Jesus never taught a place of eternal torture. He taught complete annihilation of the sinner, not torture. No torture=no hell.
