This is a relationship question, and I would like some manly advice.
This is long as fukk, so I'll try to highlight the important parts.
Okay, so I've been talking to this guy since mid May. I had him on the back burner because I was interested in someone else. So at first he was more or less my backup guy. My 'Jay is acting up, so I'm gonna talk to Daryl to pass up the time' guy.
I noticed that Daryl would text me all the time. Always a "good morning" text as well as a "goodnight" text. We'd text throughout the day, every single day.
Daryl is what you guys on here would consider a simp.
Daryl is a good brotha. No kids, a few degrees, good job, makes good money (and he's very generous with his money--reason why I think y'all would consider him a simp.)
Everything with Daryl was too good to be true. Well except the fact that he can't have kids. I'm sure some wouldn't consider that a flaw, but I do because I really want kids. So that reason alone kind of made still think of him as a 'just for fun' guy. Classes are starting soon.
One of my friends said he sounded so good, that he couldn't be single. But he is (well at least he's not married/living with anyone).
Anyways. So everything is going good. I'd jokingly say things like, 'where's your wife?' And his response would be, 'oh she's in {wherever I would be}'. Things like that, that would refer to me as his wife.
So two weeks ago he goes to his friends wedding, he's a part of the party. He told me about this wedding when we first started talking, but at that time we hadn't met (and I didn't really care). He was texting me the whole night (the night before the wedding), as well as the day of the wedding until he had to go.
So up until that point, from the day I have him my number, we talked A LOT. I knew we weren't going to speak the rest of that night, so I wasn't concerned. When we spoke the next day it was like lunch time. He said he stayed up because he had to help his church with something. His church had an outdoor service for two weeks, and he had to help clean up the last night, so he didn't get home until really late. When we spoke he said he was going to take a nap soon, because he was exhausted.
We spoke later that night but not a lot. We spoke the next day, and I asked him if he wanted to chill the next Sunday because I was off. He said yeah, and that he was going to come up Saturday, spend the night, then Sunday we could go shopping. I told him not to come Saturday because I was going to get my period that day (so I was going to be extra cranky/crabby) plus I had shyt to do that day. I didn't hear from him the rest of that night, so I was pissed. I text him to let him know I was pissed, and not to respond. So the next day we didn't talk at all, which I figured would happen. (In the text I said don't respond because I don't feel like talking right now). Then Tuesday I said fukk it, and text him. We had a good convo that day, and Wednesday. Thursday were texting and I'm like, 'are you still coming Sunday?' And he responds, 'no, because I spent the money I was going to use'. And I was like, 'I didn't invite you here so we could go shopping it was your idea. I just wanted to see you.' Which was true, I did want to see him, but when he mentioned shopping. I was like

So hell yeah I was crushed we were going to go shopping, but he didn't know that.
We got onto the subject of what happened the past weekend. He said he got caught up in something, and that's why he didn't respond. He didn't tell me what. And I didn't ask because I figured, if he wanted me to know, he would have told me. But I assume it had something to do with his family.
He alluded to his siblings having "issues", so he would try to stay home on the weekends, in case something popped off, because he was apparently the only one with their shyt together.
The convo on Thursday ended with me asking him what time he would come up on Sunday. 8 hours later, I still hadn't heard from him, so I wrote, "everytime I ask you about Sunday you come up busy, so I'll take the hint and tell my bosses I'll work".
Then when I got home (10:30ish) I blocked his number.
My friend said I shouldn't have done that because he probably had another family issue. And Inot retarded. I know it could have been (and probably was) a family issue. But I was pissed. He could have text a quick little 'I'm having a family issue I'll ttyl'.
I lived my life not concerned with him. Not checking my phone. But then yesterday I decided to unblock him. He didn't text or call, which I expected.
So today I text him. No response- okay, he was at work, maybe he had some shyt he had to do. So I called. And called again. And again. Left a message. Still haven't heard from him.
What do I do?
I'm a crazy person, so my instinct is to keep calling. But I know that make me look crazy, so I'm not going to.
I mean the only thing I can do it wait.
