Coli brehs help me pick out the games Ima cop for Xmas 4 me and the fam

I already got myself the Battlefront PS4 bundle and got leftover credit from Gamestop, got FIFA and 2k16 for the kids but now its time for the grown ups to play

Ive been out of the console game for a minute and Im looking to buy 1 RPG/Adventure, 1 Shooter, and 1 Fighting game just to have a small backlog cuz I aint really got time like that on my hands, and Im not tryna wait on the preorders even tho first quarter of 2016 looks

So here are my choices if u got recommendations let me know

RPG:
Witcher 3 (Im leaning towards this just cuz of how yall talk about it on here really)
Fallout 4 (Loved Skyrim, never played a Fallout game)
Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY (Never played this either but it looks good and its deep)

Shooter:
Black OPS 3 (This is really my only pick but I just wanna know if yall think its worth buying another COD game like that)

Adventure:
Arkham Knight (Played the first ones in the series, loved 'em)
Assassins Creed Syndicate (Havent played one since the Part 2 Trilogy but this one looks interesting)
GTA V (Still havent played it lots of DLC and its prolly cheap)

and Fighting games I wanted either MKX or SFV but Idk if I can still get the Beta buy ordering the game online, can anyone tell me?

I'm not a co-op type of gamer so if you are, rake these recommendations with a grain of salt.



1) If you loved Skyrim, you'll love Fallout 4. Nothing else needs to be said on that one. Get it.


2) Witcher 3 may be worth a look.
I personally couldn't get into it, but I think I'm a minority on that front.
It won GOTY iirc and most enjoy it. You'll likely be in the same boat.


3) If you haven't played GTAV, playing it on the PS4 with all the enhanced goodies and extras will be enjoyable for you.
It's not my favorite GTA but it's worth a look if you're a fan of the series.
I owned it on the 360 and currently own it on the PS4. The jump is significant as far as the content and the visuals.
The multiplayer has plenty of meat, too.
They're still adding worthwhile updates.
I think it's worth a purchase, especially if you can find it in that $35.99 - $29.99 price range.
It may even be lower depending on where you look.


4) You didn't have them listed but I personally recommend Until Dawn or Phantom Pain.
Phantom Pain upset some because of the claim it felt incomplete, but I loved it.
Haven't finished it yet but it hands down has the best, most fluid game play of any game I've played in recent memory.
Loving Fallout 4 but I went directly from Phantom Pain to F4 and it was jarring.
Felt like I'd went from controlling an actual human to a tin man.
That's how smooth the game play is in comparison to a lot of games.

I recommend Until Dawn if you're into the interactive cinema type of games and enjoy horror.
It's one of those games where your actions affect the narrative.
You're pretty much dropped into your own campy, horror movie against a knife wielding psychopath ala Michael Myers or Jason Vorhees.
Your decisions determines who makes it out or not.
Graphics are great and the story is fun.

Avoid Dragon Age.
The Witcher 3 is superior in every way. Inquisition is probably the biggest regrettable purchase I've made thus far this gen.
I forced myself to finish it and will never touch it again.

def get GTA i had it for ps3 and it was still worth the upgrade. BO is alot of fun, if you enjoyed AW I wouldnt hesitate....people seem pretty split on the whole jumping around/wall climbing stuff, but Im loving it. My cuz hasnt beaten Fallout yet, but im getting it asap, and he loves it. Im an MK guy, always loved it more than the SF series, so for that go with the series you prefer. Arkham Knight is fun, but not great....I got kinda sick of it before beating it, so its in my backlog.
