Genuine terminology is thrown on a lot of cheap leather jackets these days. Scott also has stores you can walk in.

A want a Shearling but they cost like triple what normal leather jackets cost

Someone mentioned this but I believe the opposite. You can find good ones on Grailed. It’s typically easy to restore leather, and you can get more pictures from the owner.
if your worries it might have taken the shape of the original owner, pictures will help you know if the leather is worth it or not. You can always size down as well, since leathers do form to your body, you can get an original shape (as long as the leather hasn’t been completely beaten)
