The motivation for this thread came from another thread where black males were showing disdain, and even getting upset because a black teenage boy received a car as a gift from the parents of the white chick he is dating. Some felt that they kid and/or his father should refuse the gift while others were ok with the gesture and even went as far to explain that black men need this type of economic support, no matter who is giving it, in order to catch up with other group of men that, on average, are more financially stable than black men (this doesn't mean all are).
I'm sure many, like myself, didn't get their first car until they made enough money to purchase their own because most black parents believe that a boy working to buy his own car will teach him to value worth ethic. While this is certainly true, other boys of other races are learning the same lesson early, but also have the basic essentials to obtain economic prosperity between the ages of 16-18. Most black males only have these essentials years after they've been in the workforce, and in some cases, not at all.
The lack of basic economic essentials will make dating and marriage harder for black boys, especially if they aren't gifted with high levels of intelligence to overcome financial shortcomings, physical prowess and aesthetics which women are genuinely attracted towards. Black Women will be practicing hypergamy going forward.... average won't cut it anymore.
Teaching black boys that struggle is ok all of the time is wrong especially when boys of other races are surpassing you.
