Cuban Americans have a higher poverty rate than South Americans, Haitians, Africans, and Panamanians. And a lot of Cubans in Miami have been arrested for money laundering and other fraudulent crimes.

The perception of them being high class model minorities is generally driven by the Republicans hyping them up for votes.

I say this with no malice either as I never had issues with Cubans in NY/NJ or in Cuba itself.

The days of rampant capitalism will come to an end very soon and there is NOTHING they can do about it. We're quickly approaching an era where it will no longer be feasible to carry on with business as usual. Not sure if socialism will take its place but a monumental change is coming.
